Jake is the Learner Experience Manager for the Southwest Institute for Emotional Intelligence (SWIEI). Whether supporting learners with their online EI programs or doing backend admin work in our learning platform, his role is to ensure learners have an engaging and impactful experience.
Jake’s career experience has been focused on the fields of learning design and technology. He’s spent many years designing learning solutions for corporate training and higher education spaces. In addition, he has worked in learning technology-focused roles such as Learning Technology Implementation Manager and Learning Management System Administrator. Jake loves to see the combination of effective learning design and the right technology come together to help unlock a student’s potential.
As an avid sports fan, Jake loves playing golf, tennis, or Pickleball whenever he gets the chance. He has seen a measurable improvement in his relationships, both at home and at work, as he has focused on being more empathetic, which is his favorite EI competency.
