Dana Black is a communications expert, speaker delivery and executive public speaking coach, public speaker, moderator, corporate emcee, storyteller, and professional SAG-AFTRA actor with expertise in television, film, and voiceover work. She is also a speaker delivery coach for TEDxChicago (the largest TEDx in the Midwest with over 900 people in attendance each year), and coaches clients privately in all types of public speaking.
Dana moved to Traverse City two years ago after living in Chicago for over 20 years. In Northern Michigan, Dana is now an active Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sister, a TART Trail Ambassador, a co-host/emcee for the 2024 reboot of TCNewTech, a playwriting mentor for the Young Playwrights Festival at the City Opera House, a public speaking coach for local political candidates and business leaders, and a moderator for the National Writers Series. Oh, and she loves to kayak and hike in all the beautiful nature!
